Travel

Access from Airports (to Kyoto Station)

You can travel from Kansai International Airport (KIX) or Osaka Itami Airport (ITM — domestic flights only) to Kyoto Station by train, limousine bus, or taxi. For details, please refer to the following official access guides:

From Kyoto City to Uji Campus

Kyoto University Uji Campus is easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest stations are JR Nara Line's “Obaku Station” and Keihan Uji Line's “Obaku Station”, both within walking distance of the campus.

To Sapporo after ISIAC

After ISIAC 2025, participants heading to Sapporo for ICPEAC can travel via domestic flights from Kansai International Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) to New Chitose Airport (CTS). Direct flights are frequent, with a flight time of around 2 hours. It is also possible to travel to Sapporo on the afternoon of the final day (July 27).

Accommodation

Participants can reserve a hotel through the Registration site. The reservation through this system should be completed by June 24.

Kyoto also offers a wide range of accommodation options, including hotels, traditional inns, and guesthouses, so participants can arrange their own accommodation independently.


VISA Application and Invitation Letters

For those who require a visa to enter Japan and need visa support documents, such as an invitation letter from the organizer, please visit the Registration site. The deadline of registration for Visa Support Applicants is June 20.
